Abalone Mushroom With Sesame Seed


CHNG Kee's sauce(s) used:

  • CHNG Kee’s Hainanese Chicken Rice Mix

  • CHNG Kee’s Light Soya Sauce

  • CHNG Kee’s Dark Soya Sauce

    Cooking Method

    1. Remove the stem of abalone mushrooms, and soak in hot water.

    2. Remove the water, and coat abalone mushrooms with flour to deep-fry with hot cooking oil.

    3. Drain away oil, and set aside abalone mushrooms.

    4. Heat pan with cooking oil, and add ingredients B.

    5. Add abalone mushrooms to stir-fry, and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.

    6. Place lettuce on serving plate, and put abalone mushrooms on it to serve.

    Ingredients A

    • 500 gm abalone mushroom
    • 50 gm lettuce
    • 10 gm white sesame seed
    • Flour
    • Cooking oil

    Ingredients B

    • ¼ tsp CHNG Kee’s Hainanese Chicken Rice Mix
    • 1 tbsp CHNG Kee’s Light Soya Sauce
    • ½ tbsp CHNG Kee’s Dark Soya Sauce
    • 2 tbsp water
    • 1 tbsp white vinegar
    • ¾ tbsp sugar
    • ½ tbsp Chinese cooking wine
