SIN HWA DEE WAS AWARDED A MAJOR CONTRACT TO SUPPLY TO SATS CATERING, THE LARGEST IN-FLIGHT CATERER IN SINGAPORE.

LAUNCHED THE CHNG KEE’S RETAIL RANGE OF PREMIUM AND PRE-MIX SAUCES.

“I knew that in order to make an impact both locally and internationally, we have to launch a retail brand. We decided to use our late father’s name CHNG Kee’s in branding our retail pack. It was a way to fulfill his dream of starting a gourmet line of quality Chinese and Asian sauces”

COMMENCED EXPORT DRIVE FOR CHNG KEE’S

“The CHNG Kee’s range has all the right ingredients that would make it a natural success in the international market. It offers authentic flavours, conveniently packed for both the domestic consumption as well as for professional chefs. The retail pack is in 240gm while the food service pack comes in 1 litre to 5 litres sizes. The convenience of the pack comes with no compromise to the quality, and that is a promise.”

ACHIEVED ISO 9001 AND HACCP CERTIFICATIONS

And it is in this spirit that we managed to attain the ISO 9001 and HACCP certifications, both of which are highly coveted food safety and quality control certifications”

OPENING OF ITS FIRST RETAIL GOURMET STORE, “SPICE OF LIFE” AT SENTOSA IN JUNE 2005

“The “Spice of Life” gourmet store was originally conceptualized by my father, the late Mr Chng Kee. The Sentosa store was a realization of his dream.

Sin Hwa Dee future plan is to set up a global chain of Chng Kee’s Spice of Life gourmet shops that offers superior, healthy and convenient Asian sauces to people around the world.”

ACQUIRED AND MOVED INTO A 90,000 SQ, FT FACTORY, AND INCREASING PRODUCTION CAPACITY BY 5 TIMES.

OPENING OF THE SECOND SPICE OF LIFE SHOP AT CHANGI AIRPORT
