Nonya Pomfret in Banana Leaf

CHNG Kee’s Nonya Steamfish Chilli Sauce
Cooking Method
Clean and wash Pomfret fish, and heat pan with cooking oil.
Spread ground chestnuts on the fish, and deep fry in hot oil.
Once cooked, set aside and put on fresh banana leaf.
Mix ingredients B, and pour on the fried fish.
Wrap with banana leaf, and heat pat with cooking oil.
Fry wrapped fish till fragrant, and serve.

- 800 gm Pomfret fish
- 1 pc banana leaf
- Cooking oil
Ingredients B
- 350 gm CHNG Kee’s Nonya Steamfish Chilli Sauce
- 500 gm pepper paste
- 200 gm garlic (minced)
- 200 gm onion
- 2 gm lemongrass
- 2 sprays Hedychium
- 1 tbsp chestnut (ground)
