Nonya Mussel in Spicy Sambal Oelek

CHNG Kee's Sauce(s) Used:

  • CHNG Kee’s Sambal Oelek

 

Serves 4-6

 

Cooking Method

  1. Wash mussels under running water for 5 mins, and heat wok with cooking oil.

  2. Add sliced lemongrass, red and green peppers, and stir-fry for a while.

  3. Add CHNG Kee’s Sambal Oelek and mussels, and stir-fry for 5 mins until cooked to serve.

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp CHNG Kee’s Sambal Oelek
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 pc green pepper (diced)
  • 1 pc red pepper (diced)
  • 1.2 kg fresh mussel
  • 1 stalk lemongrass (thinly sliced)
